Bono em Sundance
Bono esteve presente no festival de cinema Sundance para apoiar o filme que relata a via de Joe Strummer:
«You don't have be a fan of the Clash to enjoy Julien Temple's "Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten," a visually exciting, high-octane, rock history of the U.K. punk rock band and its frontman, Joe Strummer. Simply said: It's terrific.
With support from critics and positive word-of-mouth, Temple's documentary should have as good or better box office than Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster," another behind-the-scenes music documentary, which grossed about $2 million worldwide.
Old friends, musicians, former band members and family, along with Bono, John Cusack, Johnny Depp and Jarmusch, share their recollections, not all of them flattering. Some of this footage was shot around a campfire, in reference to events Strummer organized after the band died.»

Livro de Bono
Em Abril irá estar à venda um livro da autoria de Bono. É composto por 64 paginas, e contem o discurso do cantor no National Prayer Breakfast que ocorreu em Washington em 2006:
“The one thing, on which we can all agree, is that God is with the vulnerable and poor. God is in the slums and in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house. God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them. 6,500 Africans are still dying every day of a preventable, treatable disease, for lack of drugs we can buy at any drug store. This is not about charity, this is about Justice and Equality.” –Bono
This small book, based upon the speech given by Bono at the 2006 NPB, delivers an inspiring and powerful message. Here, in Bono’s own words, is a reflection on his own faith and a challenge to people of all faiths to reach across boundaries and come together on behalf of what the Scriptures call “the least of these.”

Bono doa guitarra
Uma guitarra de Bono Vox, vocalista dos U2, integra a exposição "Born To Rock", uma mostra acerca da história e influencia da guitarra eléctrica.
A guitarra foi personalizada pelo cantor de 'One' com imagens que criou para o livro infantil "Peter And The Wolf", publicado para beneficiar o Irish Children's Hospice.
O intrumento vai ser leiloado, com as receitas a reverter para instituições de solidariedade.
A exposição "Born To Rock" está patente em Londres e inclui instrumentos musicais cedidos por diversos artistas, como Graham Coxon e Bryan Adams.

Informação
Devido a problemas de caracter profissional, o U2Only nos ultimos tempos encontrava-se um pouco desactivado, mas agora, esses problemas estão quase todos resolvidos e o site vai voltar ao que era com actualização permanente. Ano novo, vida nova!
«Bono Vox afirmou esta semana que os U2 estão a preparar-se para se reiventarem como banda.
Numa entrevista concedida à BBC Radio, o cantor prometeu grandes mudanças para breve: «Os U2 chegaram ao fim de uma era com os últimos álbuns. Está na altura de alcançarmos um outro nível. Vamos continuar a ser uma banda mas o rock, provavelmente, ficará para trás.»
O vocalista desvendou ainda alguns pormenores sobre qual o caminho que o grupo deve seguir: «Gostava de explorar temas recorrendo apenas à voz e a uma guitarra acústica. Tornar o som mais simples e com menos arranjos,» referiu.
O grupo irlandês encontra-se em estúdio a preparar um novo disco que deve ser editado no final de 2007.»
