Stones copiam U2
Segundo o Contact Music, Bono sente-se lisonjeado, ao constatar que os Rolling Stones, copiam várias ideias dos concertos dos U2, para os seus próprios espectaculos:
«BONO is "flattered" his heroes THE ROLLING STONES stole many of U2's concert ideas for their own live shows.
The Irish rocker has learned that SIR MICK JAGGER designed the Stones' mid-1990s shows after checking out U2's Zoo TV tour, and he couldn't be happier.
Bono tells Rolling Stone magazine, "We invented the B stage, the idea of going into the middle of a stadium or arena, on that tour. That was our idea that they borrowed."
Bono insists he can't complain about the Stones pinching some of his ideas, because he learned so much from Jagger and his band.
He explains, "The debt is much more in their direction."»
